What AlphaPublish does

AlphaPublish removes the background from a short authorized video, lets the user review the transparent result against multiple surfaces, and separates processing from delivery. The approved result can be downloaded as Transparent WebM, exported as eligible ProRes 4444, or published as a hosted website asset with one stable embed.

Real moving examples

The homepage shows generated moving presenter and ecommerce examples at three stages: the original scene, the transparent result, and the same result composed over a live webpage design. These examples demonstrate the intended short landing-page and product-creative use cases rather than a still image animated to look like video.

Why teams choose AlphaPublish

A background remover normally stops at a file. AlphaPublish continues with browser-aware playback, an optimized poster fallback, versioned media, cache-safe replacement, diagnostics, and a stable public asset ID. The page remains composed if autoplay is blocked, motion is reduced, the network is slow, or media is temporarily unavailable.

How the workflow works

Upload an MP4, MOV, WebM, or M4V inside the limits shown in the product. Use the signed-in three-second preview to test a difficult moment, or apply an eligible paid publish. Review the complete result, then choose a download or hosted delivery. Publishing does not repeat background removal merely because the delivery changes.

Hosted delivery

A hosted asset uses one stable embed while approved media versions use cache-friendly versioned URLs. The player waits for validated transparent playback, pauses off-screen, respects reduced motion, and keeps a verified poster visible when animation cannot run. A replacement can become the active version without editing every destination page.

Transparent WebM and ProRes 4444

Transparent WebM is the compact web-file delivery. Eligible paid clips up to eight seconds can also be exported as ProRes 4444 MOV for editing and compositing. The MOV is transcoded from the same approved transparent result, so repeat export does not repeat background removal or create a different mask.

Webflow, Framer, and HTML

The same AlphaPublish web component can be used in a standard HTML page, a Webflow Code Embed, or a Framer Embed or Code component. Give the container explicit dimensions, include the player script once, keep autoplay muted, verify overflow and z-index, and test the published public URL on real browsers.

Who AlphaPublish is for

The service is designed for Framer and Webflow designers, studios and client teams, SaaS marketers, creators, and small product teams that need transparent website motion without building a media pipeline. It is not manual frame-by-frame visual effects, long-form editing, or an unlimited batch-processing API.

Pricing and ownership

A signed-in three-second preview is available without a card. Single Publish and Creator Pack are one-time purchases; Creator monthly provides five active hosted assets and 90 processing seconds per billing cycle. One-time purchases and prepaid hosting remain separate from subscriptions. Agency remains waitlist-only in production while its features are completed. Workspace shows purchases, assets, hosting dates, versions, downloads, and diagnostics.

Performance and compatibility

Example media is compressed and served with version-aware caching. The hero reserves dimensions to protect layout stability, long search guides load in a separate route chunk, and nonessential sign-in prompting is limited to high-intent pages. Test the final published page across current Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, iPhone Safari, and Android Chrome as relevant to the audience.

Rights, privacy, and review

Users must be at least eighteen and hold the rights and recognizable-person permissions required to process and publish each source. Retention and deletion rules are published in the Privacy Policy. Product and browser guidance is written and reviewed by the AlphaPublish Editorial Team, carries machine-readable dates, and links to primary technical documentation.

Frequently asked questions

What does AlphaPublish do?

AlphaPublish turns a short video into a background-free web asset, hosts the published files, and gives you a stable embed that can be pasted into Framer, Webflow, or any HTML page.

How is this different from a background remover?

A background remover stops at a download. AlphaPublish continues through web packaging, hosting, poster fallback, versioning, and an embeddable player built for production pages.

What can I try for free?

Upload a video up to 30 seconds, choose any 3-second segment, and process that segment as your free preview after sign-in. No card is required, and preview files expire after 24 hours.

Which videos work best?

Short people, product, and mascot clips with a visible subject and clear separation from the background work best. MVP inputs are limited to 30 seconds, under 100 MB, and under 4000 by 4000 pixels.

Can I download without hosting?

Yes. Every paid result can be downloaded as a transparent WebM without occupying a hosted-asset slot. Unpublished results stay private for 7 days, and you can enable hosting from Workspace while they remain available.

Can I export ProRes 4444 MOV?

Paid customers can convert a transparent WebM up to 8 seconds into a ProRes 4444 MOV. The conversion is cached, so repeat downloads use the same file and never repeat background removal.

What happens if processing fails?

The job remains visible with a recoverable error. Failed processing, system retries, and delivery-only re-encoding do not consume eligible customer processing time.

How long does processing usually take?

Short clips commonly finish in a few minutes, but source complexity and service demand can increase the wait. You can leave after upload; the job remains visible in Workspace.

What happens to audio?

The transparent delivery is optimized as a visual web asset. Treat audio as a separate page or editing-layer decision and verify the exported file before publishing.

How should I shoot the source clip?

Use even lighting, keep the full moving subject in frame, avoid motion blur, and choose a background that contrasts with hair, clothing, and product edges.

Can I retry a poor cutout?

Review every result before publishing. If a system failure caused the problem, eligible usage is restored. For a difficult source, improve the lighting or framing and process a revised clip.

Can the same embed run on multiple domains?

Yes for normal use on sites you control. Agency domain controls may add stricter delivery policies later. See Fair Use for unusual or abusive traffic patterns.
